Styling the scene

Little secrets when styling the scene.

Before shooting the interior and decorative elements randomly it is important to observe the scene and look at the image you want to capture. If the scene is dull you can place some nice cushions or newspapers, tide the place up, create some atmosphere, add details to give some character, move around the room and try to get the feel and position for the perfect shot.

Interior lightning

Shooting with natural light whenever possible.

The problem with interior photography as well as with real estate photography is the bright light that comes through the windows, therefore it is important to stay away from them as it can lead to problems with exposure. A better option would be draw curtains and turn on some of the interior lights that would give a homey feeling.
